These precise plastic tips are made from a high quality plastic which will not bend out of shape. They fit most standard couplers, are dishwasher safe, don't rust and are resistant to food stains. As the plastic tips float they are less likely to go down the drain or into garbage disposal units. If you use these tips with candy coatings or chocolate the contents don't set as quickly as in a metal tip and, if it does, you can microwave it for a few seconds to warm the contents before resuming your work.
