The Horowhenua Embroiderers Guild are having an Intastitch Day in Levin on Saturday August 7 at the Arts Centre in Bath Street.
Golding Handcrafts will have a selection of items such as tapestry canvases, scissors, needles, patterns, baby clothing which can be embroidered upon and more - for $ 5.00 entry, you can see the work that the Guild does.
Golding Handcrafts offers Guild Members a 10% discount off all standard pricing and this will apply to everybody visiting the Intastitch Day.
Come along from 9.30 - 3.30 and take advantage of this opportunity to talk with the Guild members about their activities, find out their meeting dates if you want to join, and see the amazing works in progress.
Golding Handcrafts regularly support local activities such as the Wellington Cake Decorators' Guild competition and exhibition.
The 2010 exhibition is being held at the New Dowse in Lower Hutt on Saturday July 31 (11- 5) and Sunday August 1 (10 -4).
Admission is $ 5.00 with discounts available - the cakes on display are true works of art and this exhibition is well worth a visit.
